Bunches of Brunches: The Best Places to Enjoy a Worldly Bottomless Brunch!

First things first – I need to pay homage to one of my favorite meals – Brunch.  Fifty percent breakfast; 50% lunch – 100% fabulous.  Brunch is the perfect way to celebrate any occasion or situation. For example, maybe you’ve just powered through a good morning run and say to yourself “man, I deserve a lot of carbs.” Or maybe you just woke up and realized you need to feed your 10 house guests – now.  Or maybe you just woke up next to what’s-her-name still partially intoxicated from the night before and you need some grease in you, pronto.  Either way, brunch is the PERFECT way to kick start your weekend.  And for your runners, hosts, and lushes out there – DC is just the ticket for the best brunch around.  Get ready – it’s time for Bunches of (Bottomless & Worldly) Brunches!

  • Agora (1527 17th Street Northwest).  You’ve all heard of Bottomless Mimosas, right?  Well this authentic Turkish & Greek restaurant situated in the heart of Dupont Circle is taking it up a notch.  Bottomless Brunch.  That’s right, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday’s and Sunday’s, Agora’s brunch menu is fair game for the taking.  The all-inclusive menu, priced at $29.95 includes endless helpings of all brunch items as well as bottomless glasses of Mimosas, Bloody Mary, Champagne, and House Vodka, Gin, and Tequila Martinis. Brunch or Open Bar? You decide.
  • Cuba Libre (801 9th St. NW) invites you to Brunches without Borders, a bottomless brunch where you’re the only person standing between self-restraint and sheer indulgence.  For a cool $25 and free reign of your empty stomach, Cuba Libre invites you to sample as much as you possibly can off of their brunch menu.  Get in early and stay until 2 p.m., when the deal expires.   I believe a “good luck” is in order.
  • Masa 14 (825 14th Street, NW).  Why should brunch only be waffles and bacon?  Especially when the $35 Unlimited Brunch at Latin and Asian-inspired Masa 14 includes a Breakfast Pizza with house bacon, egg yolks, Gruyere cheese, pico de gallo and arugula (um, YUM!) and Pan Dulce with ancho whipped cream and roasted pineapple syrup (delish!), among the rest of their tasty brunch menu.  And since you’ll probably need something to wash all that goodness down, enjoy an unlimited selection of Masa 14’s weekend brunch cocktails like their outstanding Lemon Lager, delicious Bloody Mary, Rye Bacon Bloody Mary, and Orange, Lychee, or Mango-Blood Orange Mimosas.  Sign.Me.Up.

Now, let’s get the weekend started!
