Welcome to Friday, friends! Today’s roundup is all about the Cirque and the Pig. And you just have to check them both out! Enjoy and have a fabulous weekend!
Cirque du Soleil made it’s way back to Washington earlier this week, with its new show, TOTEM. Playing under a fabulous blue and yellow Big Top at National Harbor, TOTEM is inspired by founding myths and traces the fascinating journey of the human species from its original amphibian state to its ultimate desire to fly. The show, already getting rave reviews, will be in town through October 7th. For schedules and tickets, head to www.cirquedusoleil.com/totem.
Pig out this Sunday at Bourbon Steak during their third annual Porc Out. Relax with some Port City beers on the restaurant’s patio as you enjoy a Pig Roast and all you can eat BBQ favorites. But don’t fill yourself up – make sure to save room for a yummy dessert table and ice cream sundaes. And what pig roast wouldn’t be complete without some spiked watermelon? $50 for food, $60 for food and drink, and $40 for children 12 and under. Tickets Here.
