Well-Dressed Wit: Suri’s Burn Book Launches at A Bar

It’s true what they say, good wit is hard to find.  But at Wednesday night’s Suri’s Burn Book Launch Party, Washington’s wittiest darling, Allie Hagan, was all smiles and full of her signature wit as she signed books and greeted the district’s favorite fashionistas. Hagan, who authors the Tumblr sensation, Suri’s Burn Book, released the book version of her popular blog on Tuesday and held the book’s first event right here in Washington, taking over A BAR with a pink-themed party with all the fabulous trimmings.  With a collection of delightful cupcakes and creative cocktails by GQ Magazine’s “Most Innovative Bartender” in DC, Brennan Adams, attendees got a glimpse into the fabulous world of Suri Cruise.

Here’s the deal, if you haven’t read Suri’s Burn Book, you need to.  The blog, which receives more than 80,000 hits a day, is a collection of snarky commentary written from the hilarious perspective of Suri Cruise, Tom and Katie’s famously fashionable six-year old daughter.  By providing a daily dose of witty “tough love” to celebrities and their disappointing children, it’s brilliant – and exactly what I would have liked my blog as a six-year-old to look like.  Exactly.

Author Allie Hagan.

Suri’s Burn Book: Well-Dressed Commentary From Hollywood’s Little Sweetheart is on sale now on Barnes & Noble and Amazon.
